Our Fishermen

We have approximately 20 fisher members. We have several husband and wife partnerships. We have a number of fishermen who have fathers and sons fishing together and some with their own fleets. The first female captain in our harbour is a member of our Co-op. We even have one case of grandfather, father and son who each operate their own fleets.

Our fishermen pay strict attention to conservation measures and follow the best handling practices as suggested by the industry. Our fishermen have hundreds of years of combined experience, and we continue to learn from one another as we move forward.
